Sony Mocopi

Sony mocopi is a full-body motion capture system based on lightweight sensors, designed to capture movement and estimate body position and posture through motion sensing and artificial intelligence. Its integration provides a particularly valuable technological layer for XR products in which tracking quality and movement naturalness have a direct impact on the final experience.

In this case, we worked with Sony to make Les Mills XR Dance compatible with mocopi, incorporating a device from Sony's ecosystem as part of the product's evolution. This integration helped improve motion accuracy and enhance the fidelity of body representation in an XR experience developed by Odders in partnership with Les Mills, the global company that helps millions of people train in gyms and homes around the world.

The value of the project lies in how a technology collaboration can translate into a tangible product improvement. By connecting Les Mills XR Dance with an advanced motion-capture solution compatible with tools and production pipelines such as Unity, it became possible to deliver an experience that is more precise, more fluid, and better aligned with the standards of a leading international brand.
